FRENCH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY CATEGORY
With the passing of Bill C-19, category based draws are now in vogue with six categories chosen for 2023 of which French language proficiency category is one of them. This is a great opportunity for French learners because of the Bill C-13 a different bill from Bill C-19), French language is more enshrined into Canada immigration policies which will mostly make the French Proficiency category appear every year.
The category is very helpful for those whose category may not be chosen in the year concerned, who have a low CRS score or who can’t meet up with the All-Program category. For example, the last All program based draw was on July 4, 2023 with CRS cut off of 511, and all other category based draws from June 28,2023 (inception) till date are within the range of 463 to 486. Only French category has been lower since inception.
The First French category was on July 7, 2023 with the CRS of 439 while the second one was 375 on July 12, 2023 and CRS draws are no longer bi-weekly like before, they are now more regular. So, delay in the pool will be significantly reduced.
Consequently, if Canada is still your dream country, you need to take your French learning very seriously. Usually, it will take conventionally 9 to 14 months to learn and master French, however here at Tobidam, with years of experience of teaching, we have mastered our craft to be able to deliver that between 4 to 8 months depending on the program the students choose.
Take advantage of this French pathway and make your Canada dream come true on time through us!
